We’re honored to welcome Vangie Neeley, Au.D. as the newest member of Sounding Joy’s Board of Directors. With more than 42 years of experience as an audiologist, Vangie brings deep expertise, compassion, and a lifelong commitment to helping people hear and connect with the world around them.

Throughout her career, Vangie worked with patients ranging in age from newborns to over 100 years old, helping individuals and families navigate hearing loss with care and dedication. Over the past two years, she has worked alongside Sounding Joy as a referring audiologist, regularly collaborating with our founder, Christy Vogel, to help children gain access to life-changing hearing aids. After recently retiring, Vangie knew she still wanted to stay involved in meaningful work, making her decision to join Sounding Joy a natural next step.

Vangie is excited to work more closely with the generous supporters, partners, and families who make up the Sounding Joy community, and she looks forward to helping expand the organization’s impact so that even more children can experience the joy of hearing.

Outside of Sounding Joy, Vangie enjoys traveling with her husband, Philippe, and creating ceramics and artwork at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. Together, they also manage a business providing furnished short- and long-term rentals for individuals relocating, receiving medical care, or serving in the military. Philippe, who previously managed several resorts, shares her love of hospitality and community connection. The couple has five grown children living across the United States.

We are grateful to have Vangie’s experience, heart, and dedication on our Board of Directors, and we are excited for the difference she will help us make in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Welcome, Vangie!
