We’re thrilled to share that Sounding Joy was selected as the 2nd-place nonprofit at the most recent 100 Good Guys St. Pete gathering—earning $1,500 to help more children receive the hearing aids they need.
At the quarterly event, our founder, Christy Vogel, and provider liaison, Dr. Vangie Neeley, presented on how timely access to hearing technology transforms a child’s life—at school, at home, and everywhere in between. The community’s vote of confidence energizes our mission and puts real help in reach for local families.
Each quarter, 100 Good Guys St. Pete members meet for about two hours to hear three brief pitches from local nonprofits, then vote and donate on the spot. The model is simple—100 men × $100 = $10,000 (or more)—and 100% of member contributions go directly to the selected charities. The St. Pete chapter is part of a global network of 700+ giving circles dedicated to expanding local prosperity.
This award immediately fuels Sounding Joy’s work—funding hearing aids and services for children whose families can’t afford them—so every lesson, laugh, and “I love you” can be heard loud and clear.
Thank you, 100 Good Guys St. Pete, for choosing Sounding Joy and amplifying our impact. We’re honored, grateful, and ready to keep changing lives—one set of ears at a time.
