Sounding Joy is honored to announce that it has been selected to receive a $2,000 Community Grant from the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club. This grant will directly support Sounding Joy’s mission of providing hearing aids, accessories, and services to children whose families cannot afford them, opening doors to confidence, connection, and lifelong success.

Each year, the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club awards grants to local nonprofit organizations that sponsor community improvement projects throughout the Tampa Bay region. Being selected as a 2026 grant recipient reflects the organization’s commitment to supporting impactful programs that strengthen the community and improve the lives of children and families.

“We are deeply grateful to the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club for believing in our mission and investing in the children we serve,” said Christy Vogel, Founder and Executive Director of Sounding Joy. “This grant will help us provide hearing aids to more children in Tampa Bay who need them. Every dollar makes a life-changing difference, and we’re honored to be recognized by an organization dedicated to community improvement and service.”

The $2,000 grant will enable Sounding Joy to provide professionally fitted hearing aids to children in the Tampa Bay area. Research shows that when children receive hearing aids, they experience improved academic outcomes, stronger peer relationships, and better long-term wellbeing. Since its founding in 2021, Sounding Joy has provided hearing aids to over 100 children in the region.

The GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club is proud to support dynamic and impactful organizations that improve communities and better the world. Through their annual grant program, the organization invests in local nonprofits that create meaningful change throughout the Tampa Bay region.
