Sounding Joy is grateful to receive a $6,000 donation from the Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota—an organization whose mission to support individuals with hearing, speech, and communication challenges aligns perfectly with our own.
This gift will help provide hearing aids, accessories, and professional services to local children, ensuring they can learn, connect, and participate fully in every aspect of their lives.
Established in 1956, the Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota has dedicated nearly seven decades to serving the community. The name Sertoma stands for “SERvice TO MAnkind,” and the club lives up to that promise through programs like Sertoma Kids, the Hearing Aid Project, scholarships, and community outreach focused on giving a voice to the unheard.
Their commitment to breaking down communication barriers through service and philanthropy mirrors Sounding Joy’s work to ensure no child’s potential is limited by untreated hearing loss.
This partnership helps us serve families in the financial gap—those who don’t qualify for traditional assistance but are still priced out of essential hearing care that can cost thousands of dollars per child.
We’re honored to partner with the Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota and grateful for their longstanding dedication to this cause. Together, we’re ensuring more children can hear the sounds that shape their future.
