A $5,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Sarasota will help more kids hear more of life. This generous grant directly supports Sounding Joy’s mission to provide hearing aids to children whose families can’t afford them, so they can fully participate in school, connect with friends and family, and thrive.

Rotary’s purpose aligns beautifully with this work. Guided by the vision of “Service Above Self,” Rotary advances high ethical standards and community service.

Sounding Joy founder Christy Vogel is a longtime member and current board member of the Rotary Club of Tampa and was recognized for her service to the organization in July. That same month, Christy presented to the Rotary Club of Sarasota, which was covered by ABC7 Sarasota.  She shared her personal story of growing up with undiagnosed hearing loss and no access to hearing aids. We’re deeply grateful to the Rotary Club of Sarasota for fueling life-changing impact. Together, we’re making it possible for more children to hear every lesson, laugh, and lullaby—now and for years to come.
