We’re thrilled to announce that Sounding Joy has been awarded a $6,000 grant from the DeBartolo Family Foundation.
The DeBartolo Family Foundation is a Tampa Bay–based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of our community’s most underserved neighbors. For nearly two decades, the Foundation has supported youth, veterans, animals, and grassroots organizations by funding educational scholarships, back-to-school grants for teachers, holiday adoptions for local families, and the Spirit of Humanity Award—a $25,000 gift presented three times each year to outstanding philanthropic programs. Since 2002, they’ve given nearly $17 million to strengthen our region through the power of giving back.
For Sounding Joy, this grant means more kids will receive the hearing aids they need to hear clearly, participate fully in school, and connect with friends, family, and the world around them—no matter their family’s financial situation.
