Board Member: Vangie Neeley

After a wonderful and rewarding 42+ year career as an audiologist serving patients from birth to age 105, Vangie is excited to continue helping children hear through Sounding Joy, Inc.

For the past two years, Vangie has worked alongside Sounding Joy as a referring audiologist, regularly meeting with Christy—the powerhouse behind the organization. Ten weeks into retirement, she realized she wanted to stay a bit busier, so she joined the team as Interim Operations Coordinator. It’s an honor for her to work more closely with the generous individuals who make up the Sounding Joy community, and she looks forward to getting to know each one.

Outside of Sounding Joy, Vangie enjoys traveling with her husband, Philippe, and creating ceramics and art at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. Together, they also run a business offering multiple furnished short- and long-term rentals for those relocating, receiving medical care, or serving in the military.

Philippe, who has managed numerous resorts, has a deep love for the hospitality industry. The couple has five grown children who are scattered across the United States.
