Nitesh Sapra and Mike Eckert Join Sounding Joy Board of Directors

St. Petersburg, FL (November 2022) – Christy Vogel, CEO and founder of a local, outsourced marketing firm Marketing Direction, announced that Nitesh Sapra of NitNeil Partners and Mike Eckert of ESCO are now members of the Sounding Joy Board of Directors.

When asked about Nitesh and Mike joining the board of directors, CEO and Founder of Sounding Joy Christy Vogel said, “Nitesh has a wealth of strategic experience with growing nonprofits in a scalable way. Mike has vast experience working in the audiology industry which gives us a lot of connections and resources we need as we build our program. They both have a passion for giving children every opportunity to succeed in life so they are a natural addition to our team.”

Nitesh Sapra said, “Having multiple family members suffer hearing loss including my 2-year-old son, I have experienced firsthand the lack of support and resources available as well as the financial impact and emotional toll.  I share Christy’s passion and urgency to solve this problem for children and adults in our community.   I am honored to serve on the Board and look forward to a day when all children and adults that are suffering from hearing loss have access to proper aids and support.”

Mike Eckert said, “Sounding Joy is a great cause with a focus on helping children who don’t have the resources to help themselves.  These children are the future, and they deserve the right to have every opportunity to succeed.  By helping them with better hearing we assist in providing one more building block on their road to a successful and fulfilling life.  I joined the board to provide my 27 years of experience, connections and knowledge to help Sounding Joy help as many children as possible.”

Sounding Joy has its first fundraising event planned, the Sounding Joy HEAROS Inaugural Golf Tournament, for November 12. For more information about Sounding Joy, Christy Vogel and the golf tournament or to make a donation, visit SoundingJoy.org.
